About Me
I'm Matt Kantor, Software Engineer Leader turned marketer and coach. For over 20 years I've been building technology companies, scaling growth engines, re-engineering how work gets done and coaching engineers and founders through the hardest strategic decisions of their careers. I don't teach theory. Everything I share comes from doing the work myself. Sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing, always learning.
As VP of Platform & Engineering at GrowthLoop, I helped triple the company by building systems that turned first-party data into growth. We ran internal competitions to onboard customers in under 5 minutes while competitors took months. That speed became a weapon nobody could copy.
Before that, I grew startups in travel, media and medical devices while learning about flywheels, leverage, and operations at scale.
I worked on an XPRIZE medical device where I discovered first-principles thinking by building hardware simulators when real hardware didn't exist yet. And I ran viral restaurant marketing campaigns in Toronto that taught me how compounding growth loops actually work in the real world.
I trained as a coach through the Tony Robbins methodology - not because I wanted motivational tools, but because I wanted to understand why some founders break through plateaus while others stay stuck. The answer wasn't tactics. It was how they thought. That insight reshaped everything about how I work with founders today.
